Welcome to Let’s talk about science with R! The aim of this website is to share R code to help simplify analysis of biological and clinical datasets. It is also the website I will use to share examples used in the courses and workshops I will be teaching at the Rosalind & Morris Goodman Cancer Research Center at McGill University.
The topics covered ranges from simple R scripts to perform tasks in the fields of biology, immunology, cancer genetics and genomics to using R packages to run more complete analysis on datasets. Most of the examples, will be derived from publicly available data or demos provided with the R packages used. My hope is that the students in biology and other related disciplines will be able to take advantage of the wonderful tools available in R to make discoveries in their field of interest.
